This 4″ Drop Axle is designed for use with 1937-48 Ford spindles and 2 1/4″ wishbones or batwings. The 48″ center to center king pin boss is designed with a 36 1/2″ perch spacing to accommodate the standard 31 1/2″ spring. These axles are manufactured as 1 piece forged steel with a 1045 heat treat for maximum strength and come reamed for proper king pin fitment. This axle is also available drilled finish on this store.
